during this developmental period, which we like to refer to as the golden age of babyhood, we’ll provide you with specific strategies to support your baby’s cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical development.  we’ll also help you figure out your baby’s temperament, understand his or her cues, teach him or her to sleep well, and provide safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate toy ideas.

we’ll discuss how to teach provide your child with healthy sleep habits and  help you set the tone for teaching your child how to sleep through the night in a way that makes sense for your baby and your family. we will work with you in your home or through phone consultations to help you and your child sleep well!

we offer a six-week workshop devoted to helping new moms become parenting experts.  topics include anything from breastfeeding, sleep (or the lack of), and in-laws, to choosing childcare, nurturing child development, maintaining the marital relationship, and the emotional wear and tear of the newbie period.  bring your baby, relax, and meet other new moms in a comfortable and nurturing environment.  already have a group of mom friends? we’ll come to your home and provide a customized new mom’s group to discuss topics that concern you (and new things to consider!)

we are available for group seminars to discuss child development and behavior.  topics range from establishing sleep routines to using positive discipline strategies that work, as well as all of the developmental issues addressed in our personalized visits.

while twins experience the normal course of development as all babies, a multitude of additional concerns, questions, and stresses arise when you’re dealing with two!  we’ll discuss everything from scheduling, sleep, and establishing independence, to sibling rivalry and discipline times two.  you’ll feel more confident and less overwhelmed because you’ll be equipped with research-based knowledge on the special parenting techniques and strategies that nurture your twins’ development and help manage the extra stressors.

we offer a multi-visit program designed to help your caregiver better understand and nurture the cognitive and social emotional development of your infant or toddler and to facilitate increased communication regarding your child’s development and your expectations.
